Senior Mental Health Lead (SMHL) LITE Training

Delivered by BEP’s expert Mental Health and Wellbeing Team.
Our experience tells us that schools who have at least 2 people trained in the leadership of Mental Health make more progress in this area and have increased sustainability. This one day training enables you to skill up additional staff in the principles of whole school Mental Health and Wellbeing. It can also serve as a refresher course for those who have already completed the two-day Senior Mental Health Lead Training.

This training equips school staff with the knowledge and skills to lead mental health initiatives within their schools. Aligned with Public Health England’s 8 Principles for a Whole School Approach to Mental Health, the session covers:

Participants will learn to implement these principles and apply effective interventions to foster a whole-school approach to well-being. Ideal for designated senior mental health leads, this training ensures compliance with government guidelines and promotes a mentally healthy school environment.
