Coaching provides leaders with dedicated time and space to think, reflect and develop. Through structured conversations and professional challenge, leaders gain greater clarity, confidence and self-awareness, enabling them to lead more effectively.
Headship is a rewarding but often demanding and isolating role. School leaders are required to navigate complex decisions, competing priorities and increasing levels of accountability while maintaining a clear focus on school improvement and the wellbeing of their communities.
The BEP Annual Leadership Conference is our flagship leadership event, bringing together school and trust leaders from across the region for a day of inspiration, professional learning and strategic thinking.
Designed for Headteachers, Executive Leaders, Trust Leaders, Senior Leaders and Governance Professionals, the conference provides a valuable opportunity to step away from the day-to-day demands of leadership and engage with the ideas, challenges and opportunities shaping education today.
Each year, the conference attracts a diverse audience of leaders committed to improving outcomes for children and young people. Through thought-provoking keynote presentations, professional networking and opportunities for reflection, delegates gain fresh perspectives, renewed energy and valuable insights to support their leadership journey.
Headteacher Performance Management is a statutory requirement for maintained schools and an important element of effective governance in all educational settings. When delivered well, it provides a valuable opportunity to recognise strengths, support professional growth and ensure that leadership remains focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for pupils.
At BEP, we are passionate about supporting schools to develop strong leadership, effective management and high-quality education. Our experienced School Improvement Partners (SIPs) bring extensive leadership experience, strategic expertise and a deep understanding of school improvement.
School leaders are increasingly required to balance strategic priorities, operational demands and ongoing improvement activity. At times, additional leadership capacity can provide the expertise, challenge and support needed to maintain momentum and deliver sustainable change.
This leadership development session explores the conditions that create a strong sense of belonging and emotional safety within schools. Participants will consider how culture is shaped through everyday leadership behaviours, relationships and systems, moving beyond values statements to examine how culture is experienced in practice.
