Curriculum & Pedagogy Conference 2026

From Evidence to Impact: Teaching that Shapes Futures. How do schools ensure that ambitious curriculum thinking translates into inclusive, high-quality classroom practice — and stands up to inspection scrutiny?

Not another initiative. Better decisions, made well, over time.

The BEP Curriculum & Pedagogy Conference is a key date in the professional learning calendar for schools across Birmingham. It brings together educators, leaders and curriculum thinkers to explore how curriculum intent, implementation and impact can be strengthened through evidence-informed, inclusive pedagogy. This one-day online conference is designed for primary headteachers, deputy heads, curriculum and teaching leads, and trust leaders who want to move beyond surface compliance and focus on what really improves learning for all pupils.

The conference will blend evidence, classroom reality and leadership insight, with structured reflection breaks to support deep thinking and practical application.
