Safeguarding Briefing | Session 2

Stay informed and strengthen safeguarding practice.

Why attend?

One of BEP’s most established and widely attended professional learning offers, the Safeguarding Briefings are highly valued by DSLs, Headteachers and safeguarding leaders across the region. Participants consistently tell us that the sessions provide a trusted source of up-to-date information, practical advice and professional reassurance in an increasingly complex safeguarding landscape.

The safeguarding landscape continues to evolve, with regular updates to statutory guidance, emerging risks and new learning from safeguarding reviews. Staying informed is essential to ensuring that safeguarding arrangements remain effective, compliant and responsive to the needs of children and young people.

Our half-termly virtual Safeguarding Briefings provide Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), Headteachers and senior leaders with timely updates, practical guidance and opportunities to reflect on current safeguarding priorities. Designed to fit around busy school schedules, these concise one-hour sessions provide valuable insight and support throughout the academic year.
