Why choose BEP?
Through a collaborative review process, we work alongside school leaders to explore current practice, identify strengths and barriers, and develop a strategic approach to meeting the SEMH needs of pupils and staff. Our review and implementation planning support helps schools create a positive, inclusive culture where wellbeing is prioritised and effective support is embedded.
What are the benefits?
School leaders have the opportunity to evaluate their graduated response to SEMH provision and gain external expertise to support the development of a shared vision and clear, achievable next steps.
The review provides access to resources, strategies and practical approaches that support the development of a whole-school culture for SEMH. Schools can validate existing practice, build on successful approaches and identify opportunities to further strengthen provision by recognising and removing barriers.
The SEMH Focus Review may include:
- A full-day school visit, including meetings with SENDCOs and pastoral leaders.
- Focused learning walks.
- Observations of pastoral spaces and intervention sessions for pupils with SEMH.
- Exploration of identification, monitoring and assessment processes as part of the graduated approach.
You will receive:
- A strengths-based Record of Visit, highlighting effective practice, areas for development and relevant signposting.
- Support to develop an implementation plan that supports sustainable improvement and impact.
