Purbanat works collaboratively with their partners to create theatre that works across cultures, specialising in producing new plays, adaptations of existing international written works.
Purbanat became an established theatre company in West Midlands. Recently the company has been evolving and extending its creative activities beyond the traditional concept of theatre. Purbanat believes in positive change, their work with young people: youth participation, and celebrating shared Bangla and South Asian heritage and culture plays a significant role in achieving this positive change.
