Memorhyme are Birmingham arts based collective of education literacy specialists. Clients include: Birmingham City University, Premiere League, NHS and National Literacy Trust.
BThey deliver poetry workshops, programs and resources to enrich cultural capital, well being and literacy attainment across curricular. In response to the national rise in hate speech Memorhyme offer their impactful ‘Engage’ tour package for Key Stage 3, an inclusive literacy intervention: 3 x 1 hour year group assemblies delivered by 2 professional spoken word poets. Assembly 1 Year 7 theme, ‘Bully Vs Banter’ – exploring the fine line between the two. Year 8 ‘Forbid & Forgive’ – de-escalation or ‘laow-it!’ positive choices. Year 9’s – Words of Wisdom – pupils share wise words of success in school.
