Good Morning Everyone!

Welcome back to a brand new term. I hope you all had a well-earned rest and are ‘geared up’ for the term ahead. With only nine days until Key Stage 2 SATS start, I know many of you and your Year 6 children will already be feeling the pressure; I thought I would offer some timely wisdom from the Dalai Lama, “Choose to be optimistic. It feels better.”

From my school visits and conversations with many of you, there are real reasons to be positive (especially those of you in the reading project) so keep going and remember it’s only four weeks until half term!

I know I will see many of you on Thursday at The Beeches when we have three Birmingham primary colleagues and a secondary colleague, Dr Tony Evans from Prince Henry’s High School in Evesham, feeding back to you on their experiences of the pilot Ofsted inspection process. I look forward to seeing you then.

In the meantime, you know where we are if you need anything, please ring or drop me an email.
