BEP Blog – Issue 56

Good Morning Everyone,

Before you all break up to have a lie down I thought I would leave you with some good news. Primary results are looking very positive both in terms of attainment and likely progress.

Clearly these are unvalidated and many of you will be submitting disapplications which will give us a much more accurate picture later in the Autumn Term, however the picture seems to be that on the whole, you brilliant lot in Primary are improving faster than national!! I am currently analysing the impact of schools that have received support in SSIF1 and 2 and I will report this to you in detail, next term at the Learning to Shape Birmingham conference.

I also know that there were some very disappointing results for individual schools. We will be looking at these over the summer to see how we can help you some more. If you already think you need support and are NOT currently on the priority list, please email me and I will do my best to help as quickly as I can.
In the meantime, enjoy the last week, enjoy a really well earned rest and thank you all so very much for all you have done this last year, I feel privileged to work with and for you.

My very best wishes to you all
