Reading Launch and other bits and bobs!

Good Morning All,

I hope you had a good weekend.

Just a quick reminder that the Reading Launch for all named and partner schools in SSIF bid 2, the NLEs and our Secondary colleagues who are part of the pilot is TOMORROW (Tuesday 13th February) at the mac Birmingham.

08.00 – 10.00 – an update on expectations (Headteacher or other senior leader)
10.00 – 16.00 – a day’s CPD for reading leaders (Reading/Literacy/English Lead)

Parking costs £2.00 for 4 hours or £3.00 for the whole day.

I look forward to seeing so many of you. It has felt like a long arduous slog to rework the bid and I personally need reminding of how many of you are keen to get it off the ground!!

Thank you to Secondary colleagues who attended the KS4 Families of Schools event last Thursday. Please do keep in touch with how this work goes and if you are finding data in this format useful.

Finally following on from Tim’s newsletter last week, we are looking for some capacity to support us in our work here at BEP HQ. If you think you could help us in any way please don’t hesitate to give either Tim or I a call.

Have a good week and please enjoy your half term, I know how hard everyone is working and time for you to rest and enjoy time with your nearest and dearest is richly deserved.

In the meantime I will see over 100 of you tomorrow and if any of you need anything please don’t hesitate to call or drop me an email.

My very best wishes to you all
