Great News about SSIF 1!
Good Morning All,
Hope your weekend was a good one.
Despite still having to work on SSIF 2, we have had some great news about SSIF 1. I am now able to share the outcome of the first termly monitoring process for our SSIF project. The project has been RAG rated as GREEN. This means that they believe the project is currently on track for delivering its action plan and outcomes and that this is supported by testimonials from supported schools and regional intelligence.
As a result we are being asked to consider ‘growing the project’. The obvious thing to do at this point is to find out the level of interest from you all. We can’t alter the project but we can add schools that make the criteria and some that don’t! (It’s a 70%-30% split).
The project is simple: its starts with an external review (unless you have had a very recent Ofsted) and then another school supports you for 10 days to support issues identified in the review, followed by a ‘midpoint’ check up and then a further 10 days of support finishing with a final review. All of this is paid for through the bid. We are also running leadership training for aspirant leaders in the schools already involved. The schools in the project have found it to be helpful.
If you are interested in being part of an extension of this project please can you let me know by email before half term so I can see the numbers of schools looking to be involved. Please have a look at the eligibility criteria, let me know if you make the criteria and which one.
In the meantime, I am back to SSIF2!
Have a good week everyone and please give us a call if you need anything.
