This half-day programme offered by Harper Bell Seventh-day Adventist Primary School in Digbeth, Birmingham, combines in-depth explorations of the evidence and theory around curriculum development alongside practical advice to audit current practice, plan for change and evaluate impact. Participants will engage with recounts of Harper Bell’s development from an Inadequate school on the brink of closure to a setting that has developed an authentic, knowledge-rich curriculum. The session will help deepen participants understanding of curriculum design, teacher development and ways to overcome barriers to learning.
The first of BEP’s successful mental health shorts of 2021. Relevant for both Primary and Secondary. Led by psychotherapist Anna Robinson and experienced education leaders Mandy McCrohan and Anna Bateman from BEP’s NewStart team.
The Suicide First Aid (Lite) course gives learners the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths and some basic skills can help someone with thoughts of suicide stay safe from their thoughts and stay alive.
