Following on from our Design & Technology Subject Development Day and the first two DT Network meetings we are pleased to offer the third in the series.
Delivered by the Design & Technology Association (via Zoom), time will be spent exploring DT, to ensure teachers grow in confidence delivering all compulsory aspects of D&T.
This session will extend primary teachers who attended the original CPD day and support teachers who have not previously received training around the subject.
We will be looking at short-term planning and what a lesson / series of lessons may look like in D&T and learning the basics of how computer control can be incorporated into your curriculum in D&T. Using a crumble microcontroller, get hands-on with some exciting units and activities you can implement into your key stage 2 curriculum, and get pupils problem-solving, designing and creating.
