Day 1 – A top level view of the curriculum.  For headteachers, deputy headteachers and Chairs of Governors.

The aim of Day 1 is to help you gain a ‘top level’ view of the quality of the curriculum in your school.  This will include developing an understanding of curriculum design, how to make connections across intent, implementation and impact and how this links to a curriculum development plan.  The course will also look at how to develop accurate self-evaluation in line with the new handbook as well as identifying areas for improvement to inform the school improvement plan.


Day 2 – A deep dive into the curriculum.  For curriculum leaders, including assistant Head Teachers and subject leaders.

The aim of Day 2 is to explore the ‘deep dive’ approach to developing the curriculum.  This training will help subject leaders gain an understanding of curriculum models, including knowledge-based approaches, as well as implementing the vision of the school into curriculum, planning and assessment.  The course will also support you in developing leadership skills including how to audit, monitor and evaluate provision in your subject area across the school.

TOTAL COST: £100 for 2 people on both days (£25 per person).  You will receive an invoice in due course.
