Good Morning Everyone,

Another amazingly busy half term draws to a close.  Just a couple of things from me this week.  Good news for KS4 2019 results.  Overall indications show a positive improvement in performance for most measures, Progress 8 average is above national, Birmingham average 0.09 whereas national at -0.03.  Which means Birmingham children are making more progress than similar children nationally, a good improvement from 2018.  In other key measures we can also see the gap narrowing with national. Thank you and great work secondary colleagues!

We have also been working with the subject associations to organise some subject focus days for both Primary and Secondary subject leaders between now and Christmas. We have currently got about 6 planned with more to be sorted.

Please keep an eye on our communications to ensure that you know when the date of each one is.

Please enjoy a well-earned rest next week and spend quality time with those you love.
