Senior Leadership Team

Birmingham Education Partnership Senior Leadership Team is made up of experienced and dedicated education professionals. They work closely with the Governing Board and Headteachers in their aim to build a robust and ambitious system of continuous improvement, building on the very many existing strengths amongst Birmingham schools and school leadership.

BEP - Tim BoyesTim Boyes

CEO

Tim Boyes is the CEO and formerly the first Chair of the Birmingham Education Partnership. He is an NLE in his 13th year of headship, having led three uniquely challenging schools in Birmingham. He was appointed to Queensbridge School in 2003 when it was in crisis. Today it is graded outstanding, with a track record in innovative curriculum contributing to it being one of the first Character Award winners in 2015. It specialises in visual and performing arts and leadership. Tim was seconded to a local school in crisis for a period of 2.5 years at the request of Local Government. He has also led on the setting up of an alternative provision Free School, serving 14 secondary schools in the south of Birmingham.

Tim has lived and worked in Pakistan and India where he learnt Urdu and Punjabi. He is passionate about sailing, and chairs The Enterprise Sailing Trust.

Tracy_Ruddle - BEPTracy Ruddle

Director of Continuous School Improvement

Tracy Ruddle is the Director of Continuous School Improvement and leads the District Leads. Tracy has successfully worked in the education sector for 30 + years, and her most recent role was Primary Director at schools group United Learning. Prior to that she was Executive Headteacher of the federated Corngreaves and Timbertree Primary Schools in Sandwell, and earlier in her career at Bromley Hills Primary School in Dudley.
